Ingredients

For the Haddock:
  • 4 fillets haddock (about 6 oz each), skinless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 wedges lemon (for serving)

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Spatula or tongs
  • Plate

Method

Instructions:
  1. Start by rinsing the haddock fillets under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mix well until it forms a paste. Add the haddock fillets to the bowl and gently coat each fillet with the seasoning mixture.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the seasoned haddock fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry the fillets at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  5. Once the haddock is cooked, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the fillets during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  6. Carefully remove the haddock from the air fryer using a spatula or tongs. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Use avocado oil instead of olive oil for a different flavor.
  • Replace Parmesan with nutritional yeast for a dairy-free option.
  • Prepare and season the haddock a few hours in advance for easier cooking.
