Servings: 4 servings
Course: Appetizer
Cuisine: Mexican

Ingredients

  • 1 each ripe avocado the star of the show, creamy and rich
  • 1/4 each lime juiced for that zesty kick
  • 1/2 small red onion diced, adds crunch and sweetness
  • 1 bunch cilantro chopped for a fresh flavor
  • 6 each grape tomatoes quartered, adds color and sweetness
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Equipment

  • Sharp Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Mixing bowl
  • Fork or potato masher
  • Measuring spoon

Method

  1. Start by cutting the ripe avocado in half. Remove the pit and scoop the flesh into your mixing bowl. Use a fork or potato masher to mash it to your desired consistency—smooth or chunky, it’s up to you!
  2. Squeeze the juice of 1/4 lime over the mashed avocado. This not only adds flavor but also helps prevent browning. Give it a gentle stir to combine.
  3. Next, add the diced red onion and quartered grape tomatoes to the bowl. Toss everything together gently, ensuring you don’t break up the avocado too much.
  4. Chop the cilantro and add it to the mixture. This fresh herb really elevates the flavors. Stir it in until evenly distributed.
  5. Finally, sprinkle in a pinch of salt and black pepper. Taste your guacamole and adjust the seasoning as needed. You can add more lime juice or salt based on your preference.
  6. Transfer your guacamole to a serving bowl. For an appealing presentation, garnish with additional chopped cilantro. Serve it up with tortilla chips, or use it as a topping for your favorite dishes. Enjoy every bite of the Best Guacamole Recipe Ever (Really!)!
