Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Unroll one can of the crescent rolls and lay them flat in the bottom of your greased 9x13-inch baking dish, pinching the seams together.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and flour (if using) until smooth and creamy.
Pour the cheesecake filling over the layer of crescent rolls, spreading it evenly.
Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it over the cheesecake filling, pinching the seams together.
Brush the top layer of crescent rolls with melted butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and the filling is set.
Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before serving. Optionally drizzle with honey.
