  • 4-5 large russet potatoes peeled and cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation Steps:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Step 2: Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into even strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Step 3: Soak the cut fries in cold water for about 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
  4. Step 4: In a mixing bowl, combine the potatoes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and salt. Toss until evenly coated.
  5. Step 5: Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Step 7: Once golden brown and crispy, remove from the oven and serve hot.
