  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • pepperoni slices to taste
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce favorite brand or homemade

  • Spatula
  • Oven mitts
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Drizzle vegetable oil into the cast iron skillet, ensuring it coats the bottom and sides evenly.
  3. Place the pizza dough in the skillet and stretch it to fit the shape of the skillet.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded Muenster cheese evenly over the stretched dough, followed by the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese and add other toppings if desired.
  6. Spoon the pizza sauce over the toppings.
  7. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the entire pizza.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.

Notes

  • Let pizza dough come to room temperature for easy stretching.
  • Use a well-greased skillet for a crispy crust.
  • Avoid overloading with toppings to prevent sogginess.
