In a small pot, bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove it from heat and add 1 tablespoon of dried chamomile flowers or two bags of chamomile tea. Allow it to steep for about 5 minutes to extract the flavors.
After steeping, use a fine mesh strainer to strain the chamomile flowers or tea bags from the water. You should be left with a fragrant chamomile infusion.
In the same pot, add 8 ounces of oat milk to the chamomile infusion. Heat gently over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warm but not boiling.
Add 1-2 teaspoons of honey to the mixture, adjusting to your taste preferences. Stir well to ensure the honey is fully dissolved.
If you have a milk frother, froth the oat milk mixture until it’s light and creamy. If you don’t have a frother, you can use a whisk to vigorously whisk the milk until frothy.
Pour the chamomile latte into your favorite mug. For an extra touch, drizzle a little honey on top and sprinkle a pinch of ground cardamom for a warm, aromatic finish.
