Chia Pudding Cooking Guide
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add the chia seeds, almond milk, pure maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Use a whisk or spoon to mix everything together until well combined.
  2. Allow the mixture to sit for about 5 minutes. This is important as it gives the chia seeds time to absorb the liquid and begin to swell.
  3. After 5 minutes, give the mixture another good stir to break up any clumps of chia seeds. This helps achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a jar or container with a lid. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight. This will allow the chia pudding to thicken and develop its flavors.
  5. Once the pudding is set, it’s time to serve! Spoon it into bowls or jars, and top with your favorite fresh fruits, a sprinkle of granola, a handful of nuts, or a drizzle of nut butter. Finish off with an extra drizzle of maple syrup if you like it sweeter.

Notes

  • Chia pudding can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in an airtight container.
  • Stir well before serving as it may thicken further while stored.
  • If you want to enjoy it warm, gently heat in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.
