Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium Avocado Flesh
  • ¾ cup Unsweetened Almond Milk adjust for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • to taste Powdered Sweetener adjust based on preference
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract optional
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes optional

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spoon
  • Glass

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients: avocado flesh, unsweetened almond milk, cocoa powder, powdered sweetener, vanilla extract, and ice cubes if desired.
  2. In your blender, combine the avocado flesh, ¾ cup of unsweetened almond milk, cocoa powder, powdered sweetener, and vanilla extract if using.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If it's too thick, gradually add the remaining almond milk.
  4. Taste your smoothie and adjust sweetness as needed. Add more powdered sweetener if you prefer, then blend briefly.
  5. If you like your smoothie cold, add ice cubes and blend until crushed and evenly combined.
  6. Pour your Chocolate Avocado Smoothie into a glass, and enjoy immediately while fresh.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • Use unsweetened almond milk to keep it low in sugar.
  • For a thicker texture, consider using frozen avocado.
