  • 2 pounds button mushrooms stems removed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 8 ounces cooked crab meat drained
  • 6 ounces chopped clams drained
  • 6 ounces tiny shrimp drained
  • ½ cup chopped scallions
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers (about 1 sleeve)

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Finely chop the stems for the filling.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, clams, shrimp, scallions, garlic, lemon juice, celery salt, and cayenne pepper. Mix until creamy and well combined.
  3. Step 3: Gently fold in crushed Ritz crackers into the filling mixture until evenly distributed.
  4. Step 4: Fill each mushroom cap generously with the crab filling and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and filling is golden and bubbly.
  6. Step 6: Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm as an appetizer.
