  • 1/2 cup Stone-ground mustard (plain, not flavored)
  • 2 teaspoons Honey
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Homemade Creole seasoning (strongly recommended)
  • 2 teaspoons Horseradish (adjust based on heat preference)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Hot sauce (e.g., Tabasco, optional)

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients on the counter for a smooth and efficient process.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the 1/2 cup of stone-ground mustard and 2 teaspoons of honey. Stir them together until fully incorporated.
  3. Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of your homemade Creole seasoning to the bowl.
  4. Stir in 2 teaspoons of horseradish, adjusting to your spice preference.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and 1/2 teaspoon of molasses to the mixture.
  6. For an extra kick, add 1 teaspoon of hot sauce and mix well.
  7. Taste and adjust ingredients as desired, adding more honey for sweetness or more horseradish/hot sauce for heat.
  8. Transfer your Creole mustard to a jar or airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
