Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This will ensure that your cookies bake evenly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat them together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture. Beat until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the Bisquick to the mixture. Stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; you want your cookies to be tender.
- Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet, leaving space between each cookie. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Allow cookies to cool completely before storing them.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
- For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months.
