Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if you’re baking your own sugar cookies. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Step 2: If you’re using homemade sugar cookies, bake them according to your recipe’s instructions. If using store-bought cookies, simply unwrap them and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 3: Once your cookies are baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool completely on a cooling rack.
- Step 4: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt your candy coating according to the package instructions, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Step 5: Once the cookies are cool, spread a generous layer of frosting on top of each cookie using a spatula.
- Step 6: Dip the frosted side of each cookie into the melted candy coating, ensuring the frosting is well-covered.
- Step 7: While the candy coating is still wet, sprinkle your desired toppings generously over the cookies.
- Step 8: Place the decorated cookies on a cooling rack and allow the candy coating to set completely before serving.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
