Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 oz freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 large fresh garlic cloves pressed
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning dried
  • 1/4 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper for a subtle kick

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Grater
  • Garlic press

Method

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the 1/2 cup of butter until it’s fully melted and begins to bubble gently.
  2. Add the 3 large pressed garlic cloves to the melted butter. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but be careful not to let it brown.
  3. Add the softened 8 oz cream cheese to the skillet. Use your wooden spoon to stir it into the butter and garlic mixture, creating a smooth base.
  4. Slowly pour in the 2 cups of heavy cream, stirring continuously until everything is well combined and smooth.
  5. Stir in the 4 oz freshly grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Continue to stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Give your sauce a taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. If you like it a bit cheesier, feel free to add more parmesan!
  7. Once your Easy Alfredo Sauce is ready, serve it hot over your favorite pasta or use it creatively in other dishes. Enjoy the creamy goodness!
