  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tsp maple syrup (plus more to serve if desired)
  • 1 dash sea salt

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Tear the bread into small pieces and place them in your microwave-safe mug.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, ground flax meal, maple syrup, and a dash of sea salt until well combined.
  3. Pour the custard mixture over the torn bread pieces in the mug, gently pressing the bread down to ensure all pieces are soaked.
  4. Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Cooking times may vary.
  5. Let it cool for a minute, drizzle with additional maple syrup if desired, and enjoy!
