Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature, 1 stick)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup peanut butter baking chips

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula or Wooden Spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cookie Sheet

Method

  1. First, to ensure your flour is safe to eat, spread it on a baking sheet and bake it at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes. Allow it to cool before proceeding.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add the creamy peanut butter and unsalted butter. Cream them together until smooth. Gradually add in the granulated sugar and dark brown sugar, mixing until fluffy.
  4. Mix in the kosher salt, pure vanilla extract, and milk. Stir until everything is nicely blended.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until a thick dough forms. You may need to use your hands for the last bit.
  6. Gently fold in the peanut butter baking chips, distributing them evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Your Edible Peanut Butter Cookie Dough is ready to enjoy! Scoop some into a bowl and dig in.
