Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix the Challenge Spreadable Butter, garlic salt, and Italian seasonings until well combined. This flavorful garlic butter will elevate your sandwich's taste.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the French bread in half lengthwise, exposing the soft inside. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on both halves of the bread.
  3. Step 3: Toast the Bread
Place the buttered bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Toast in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy. Keep an eye on it to ensure it doesn’t burn!
  4. Step 4: Mix the Chicken and Dressing
While the bread is toasting, combine the shredded chicken and creamy Caesar dressing in a mixing bowl. Stir well until the chicken is evenly coated with the dressing.
  5. Step 5: Assemble the Sandwich
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven. Layer the romaine hearts on one half of the bread. Top with the chicken mixture, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the shaved parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  6. Step 6: Close and Slice
Place the other half of the bread on top to form a sandwich. Cut into individual portions for easy serving. If desired, you can return the sandwich to the oven for a few minutes to warm everything through.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other ingredients like sliced tomatoes or crispy bacon for extra flavor.
  • This sandwich is best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated if needed.
