Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to the package directions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, pour in the heavy cream and whisk continuously until the mixture is well combined and begins to simmer.
  3. Reduce the heat to low. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Then, add the lemon juice and lemon zest. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add the cooked penne pasta directly into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy mixture. Allow it to heat through for a couple of minutes.
