  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
For the Frosting:
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Step 2: Grease your 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and white sugar, then add the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Step 4: Sift together the cocoa powder and flour, then fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Step 5: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
