  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 tablespoon salted butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Start by opening your can of black beans. Drain and rinse them under cold water to remove excess sodium and any preservatives.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the salted butter over medium heat until completely melted.
  3. Add the rinsed black beans to the saucepan and stir well to coat them in the melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Using a potato masher or fork, mash the beans to your desired consistency.
  6. Once mashed, stir in the Vital Proteins Collagen until blended.
  7. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  8. Your Macro Friendly Protein Refried Beans are ready to be served!
