  • 3 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
For the Filling:
  • 8 ounces low-fat cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup low-fat sour cream
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
For Topping:
  • Fresh whipped cream
  • mini chocolate chips (for garnishing)
  • sliced strawberries (for garnish)

Equipment

  • Muffin tin
  • Parchment Paper Liners
  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer
  • Rubber spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

Preparation Steps:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with parchment paper liners. Crush the 18 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. Add the melted butter to the crushed Oreo cookies and mix until coated. Spoon about a tablespoon into each muffin liner and press down to form a crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 5 minutes, then remove and let cool slightly.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, Nutella, eggs, and sugar, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon the cheesecake filling over the crusts, filling each almost to the top.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly jiggly. Cool at room temperature for 10 minutes, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  8. Top with whipped cream, mini chocolate chips, and sliced strawberries before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese.
  • Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easier blending.
  • You can experiment with different flavored Oreos.
  • These bites can be made a day in advance; they taste better after chilling overnight.
