- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
- Grease your loaf pan with vegetable oil or line with parchment paper.
- Mash the 4 overripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, whipped topping mix, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir gently with a spatula until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the sweetest flavor.
- Do not overmix the batter to keep the bread light and fluffy.
