Start by rinsing the cod fillets under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
Place the cod in a baking dish. Sprinkle the salt evenly over the fillets. Drizzle the freshly squeezed lemon juice over the fish, followed by the cayenne pepper.
Drizzle the olive oil generously over the seasoned cod.
Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Once the cod is cooked, remove it from the oven and sprinkle chopped parsley over the top for a fresh finish. Serve immediately.
