Ingredients
  

For the Brownies:
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter cut into cubes
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 12 pieces Ferrero Rocher candies sliced in half
For the Nutella Frosting:
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/3 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: Melt the Chocolate and Butter: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the coarsely chopped unsweetened chocolate and 3/4 cup of unsalted butter. Stir continuously until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Step 3: Mix the Brownie Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted chocolate mixture with 1 1/4 cups of sugar. Whisk until well combined. Add in the 3 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Step 4: Add the Flour: Gently fold in 1 cup of all-purpose flour until just combined.
  5. Step 5: Incorporate Ferrero Rocher: Gently fold in the halved Ferrero Rocher candies.
  6. Step 6: Bake the Brownies: Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spread it evenly and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Step 7: Prepare the Nutella Frosting: In a mixing bowl, beat together 1/4 cup of softened unsalted butter, 1/3 cup of Nutella, and 1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract. Gradually add in 1 1/2 cups of confectioners' sugar and mix until smooth.
  8. Step 8: Frost the Brownies: Once the brownies are baked and cooled slightly, spread the Nutella frosting evenly over the top.
  9. Step 9: Slice and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
