  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • heaping 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup raisins (omit if you don’t like them)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, light brown sugar, creamy peanut butter, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Stir in the old-fashioned oats and mix until fully coated.
  5. Gently fold in the raisins and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
