In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Using a cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving 2 inches of space between cookies.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the centers are soft.
Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
