Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat and Prepare - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: Make the Sugar Cookie Base - In a mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and milk, mixing until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Incorporate Dry Ingredients - Gradually add all-purpose flour and salt to the butter mixture. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Step 4: Spread on the Baking Sheet - Transfer the cookie dough to the prepared baking sheet. Spread into an even layer.
  5. Step 5: Bake - Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
  6. Step 6: Melt the White Chocolate - Melt the white chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  7. Step 7: Assemble the Bark - Pour the melted white chocolate over the cooled cookie base. Spread evenly and sprinkle with your choice of sprinkles.
  8. Step 8: Set and Cut - Allow to set at room temperature or in the fridge for about 30 minutes until firm. Break or cut into pieces.
