Instructions
- Start by cutting the avocados in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into your mixing bowl. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocado to your preferred consistency—smooth or chunky, it's entirely up to you!
- Next, add 3 tablespoons of fresh salsa to the mashed avocado. This will introduce additional flavor, texture, and color to your guacamole. Mix well until combined.
- Now, take your lime and squeeze about 1 tablespoon of juice into the mixture. The lime juice not only adds flavor but also helps prevent the avocados from browning. Give the mixture a good stir to incorporate the juice evenly.
- Finely mince or press 1-2 garlic cloves and add them to the bowl along with 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt. Mix everything together until well combined. Taste your guacamole and adjust the salt as needed, adding more for that perfect flavor.
Notes
- Guacamole is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to minimize browning.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days for best results.
