Ingredients

  • 6-8 oz BAKERS premium white chocolate
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Heatproof container
  • Silicone spatula

Method

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the BAKERS premium white chocolate and butter. Stir frequently until both are completely melted and smooth.
  2. Once the chocolate and butter are melted, add the sugar, milk, and heavy whipping cream to the saucepan. Stir continuously to combine all the ingredients.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-low and continue to stir the mixture. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce is thickened and has a glossy, smooth texture.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Allow the sauce to cool slightly before transferring it to a heatproof container. It can be stored in the refrigerator for later use.

Notes

  • Always melt chocolate over low heat to avoid burning.
  • Stir continuously to prevent sugar from settling and burning.
  • If sauce thickens too much, reheat gently and add a splash of milk or cream.
  • Don't skip the vanilla extract; it enhances the flavor.
