Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (pound thinner if needed)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (for richness and moisture)
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice (to brighten flavors)
  • 3 tablespoons za'atar seasoning (the star of the show)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced for aromatic kick)

  • Plastic Wrap or Ziplock Bag
  • Skillet or Grill Pan

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, za'atar seasoning, and minced garlic. Whisk everything together until well blended.
  2. Place the chicken in a plastic wrap or Ziplock bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden.
  5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours.
  • Pair with couscous or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
